and the laziest blogger in the world award goes to...

[drum roll please]
oh, it's me.

yeah. sorry cyberspace. i'm pretty much the worst when it comes to... well, DOING STUFF. take for example, the fact that it's 1:30 in the morning and i just barely finished writing the final 20 pages of my new testament journal for class. am i waiting for the pages to print? no. am i editing and revising everything to make sure it sounds good for when i turn it in tomorrow morning? not quite. what am i doing?
I'M BLOGGING.

but no worries. this is the last week of class for me. after that, it's smooth sailin' through summer. and then there's Россия. I CAN'T WAIT.

ohlook! an old post that i forgot to publish:

title: [happy spring!]
Spring is finally here, and I'm way excited! Even though it's raining outside right now :( I'm probably the worst Seattle-ite in the world because I hate the rain, but whatever. Judge me all you want. The purpose of rain is two-fold: grow flowers and make rainbows. Other than those two things, I hate it. It messes up my hair, it's usually cold, it ruins my shoes. It's simply awful. But I digress...
I got to go home last week. Seeing my family was wonderful, and hanging out with my friends made me kind of wish I could bring them all back to Utah with me. However pleasant my visit home may have been, it was (for lack of a better word) WEIRD. I don't like the "still in high school" feeling I get when I go back to Washington. I was there for five days, and that was plenty. I'm glad to be back in the 801.
Anyway, I was just reading through my *
Confessions, and I felt it was necessary that I revisit my blog and write something. Really, I don't have much to say. I just feel guilty for having not written anything for almost a month. [Jeez, this is pretty much how I start out every journal entry...]

* My Confessions is a recent document that I conjured up after studying St. Augustine's Confessions. It's basically a list of things that I do (or have done) that most people don't know about me. They're not necessarily bad things; number 014 explains why I think I'm a great listener and number 008 talks about how I want to be a hippie. The list really serves no purpose other than to describe those little secrets I keep from the world, secrets I would be happy to share if I thought anyone actually wanted to know.

  1. You thought you being a hippie was a secret! Silly girl. That's funny. I love that you hate the rain and you're from Seattle and I Love the rain and I'm from Arizona. I wonder if there is a correlation?
